My Medals and Badges
The German Armed Forces Badge is awarded to German service members of all ranks and may be awarded for Allied service members, including the U.S. Army. To earn the badge, soldiers must complete:
- Evaluation Report by soldier’s commander.
- First Aid Test
- NBC Test:
- Basic Fitness Test
- Marksmanship
- Foot March: The march must be accomplished in combat uniform with boots and with a backpack weighing no less than 15 kg (33 lbs.). For Bronze — 16 km (9.9 miles) must be completed in 60 minutes.
I also was awarded the Expert Marksmanship badge for Rifle, Pistol and Tank Weapons.
